A snapshot of the benefits of becoming a SACOME member...

Advocacy and policy shaping

We support our members, providing a united voice for the resources industry and advocating on the industry’s behalf. We provide input to government on policy and planning, both proactively and reactively, consulting with members and enlisting our committees and Council to ensure the South Australian resources industry is accurately represented on every issue. By joining SACOME you are helping to grow this industry - improving our economy and increasing business opportunities for everyone.

Networking and information sharing

SACOME hosts an extensive events program featuring quality speakers and timely discussions relevant to South Australia's resources industry, together with excellent food and wine. Well attended by industry and government representatives, these provide valuable networking opportunities and keep our stakeholders up to date on the industry activities and issues. As a member you receive heavily discounted rates on our open events including lunches and dinners.

Member only events

Exclusive SACOME member-only events include workshops and seminars. Most of our seminars and workshops are free and hosted in partnership with a member to inform on key issues, innovations and legislative changes affecting the resources sector. As a member you may like to present at one of these, or host an event at your premises - providing an opportunity for other members to visit your offices and network with your staff. .

Company promotion

New SACOME members are welcomed at a corporate lunch. Highly sought after sponsorship packages are available exclusive to members which provide excellent, targetted exposure for companies looking to increase awareness of their brand and services to the South Australian resources sector. SACOME members are invited to use our 'member logo' to demonstrate their relationship with SACOME, underlining your partnership with the industry. Members are also promoted through our Industry Partners Directory.

SACOME members are encouraged to promote their affiliation with the resources sector through displaying the SACOME membership logo on print and digital materials. Through the display of this logo, others see your support for the South Australian mining and petroleum industry, your partnership with the industry - and it can assist to market your experience and capabilities. (Members contact Stephen Batten for logo and conditions of use 08 8202 9999 email This email address is being protected from spambots.
